Commercial and Industrial Propane Services - Texas Star Propane

The Houston area and East Texas regions are heavily reliant on propane to keep business and industry moving. Texas Star Propane is well equipped and able to handle the needs of high gas volume requirements, propane forklift exchange, dispensers for resale, or any other type of commercial or industrial application. Our delivery fleet services all size tanks, regardless of process or industry. As with all our delivery routing, we have the technology and equipment to ensure a seamless supply of propane.

Large Bulk Propane Tanks – Commercial and Industrial

Industrial and commercial propane customers requiring tanks often require larger volume capacities to accommodate increased load. These high-volume applications can require much larger propane tanks, or even multiple tanks. Regardless of volume requirements, Texas Star can generally install tanks of any size. We’re equipped and have the skills to handle projects of varying sizes and types. We routinely install and deliver to customers and users such as:

  • Propane Dispensers – Generally used in resale to fill bottles or RV’s for drive up customers. Most tanks are 1000 to 2000 gallons in size.
  • Roofers – Many area roofing contractors require propane to heat their tar kettles for roofing projects. These are generally temporary tanks specific to a roofing project and can be anywhere in size from 25-gallon cylinders to 1000 gallon bulk tanks.
  • Fleet Fueling – Propane powered fleets of any size often require larger capacities for vehicle refueling.
  • Greenhouses – Keeping plants healthy in the cold months often requires commercially sized propane tanks.
  • Power Generation – Certain remotely located users require large propane tanks to generate power for any number of industrial processes.
  • Commercial/General Industry – Propane tanks of higher capacities are used in restaurants, heat treating, standby power, commercial heating, and more.

Propane Forklift Cylinder Exchange

Warehousing and materials handling almost always require forklifts, and often, those forklifts are propane powered. The Houston and surrounding markets have an extensive presence of warehouses and storage facilities that utilize propane as the primary fuel to keep their forklifts running. Our cylinder exchange program offers numerous options for forklift users and fleets across our service area.

  • 33# Propane Cylinders
  • Scheduled exchange, adjustable depending on seasonality or peak usage shifts.
  • Cylinder storage cages of varying sizes
  • Company owned cylinders are routinely inspected.

Our cylinder exchange offerings also include service for propane floor buffers, temporary heating, patio heating and roofing contractors. Contact either of our north Houston area offices to inquire about our forklift cylinder exchange or other bottle exchange programs.
